ppl used to travel from one shore to another shore by boats before the bridge is built. ( as you can see, some houses <棚屋> in Tai O are built over the water)

one of the many wetlands, lots of greens in different tones! BEAUTIFUL!
villagers (some) still use dry wood for cooking........that's why when you walked pass ppl's housesm can see them chopping woods!
it works as a scarecrow but with a compact disc!! very silly! but it works lol
